While the rocket flight team has been there for days, most of our science team is just starting to arrive and prepare. Here is part of our ground-based team setting up an instrument called a riometer, which will measure the density of electrons in the sky overhead above the Poker Flat Research Range. This will help us decide when to launch the rocket. We have an identical instrument heading up with our team to the downrange site, in Venetie, AK to be installed early next week.
